Although we specialize specifically in wedding planning and coordination, we wanted to touch on some other events that are usually celebrated within a bride’s marriage journey. The bridal shower! The bridal shower is typically planned and thrown by close friends or family of the bride and is such a special way to celebrate the nuptials and shower your girl with love! Throwing the best bridal party takes a little planning, creativity, and understanding what the bride enjoys. So we made a quick list to help guide you in planning the perfect bridal shower for a soon-to-be bride.

Know the Bride's Preferences: It’s essential to make the event reflect what the bride loves. Ask her what kind of vibe she wants—whether it’s a relaxed gathering or a wild night out, the bridal party should match her style and personality.

Create a Guest List: This will help you plan how big or small the event should be, which will also determine the location and budget.

Pick a Fun Theme: Themes can elevate the party and make it memorable. Whether it’s a spa day, a retro theme, a wine-tasting evening, or a glam night out, a theme gives structure and fun to the party.

Choose a Venue or Location: This can be anything from hosting at someone's house, renting a chic venue, a fun outdoor picnic, or even a weekend getaway. Make sure it’s comfortable for everyone and easy to get to.

Plan Entertainment: Think about activities like games, a photo booth, a dance-off, karaoke, or crafting personalized drinks or treats. Don’t forget about music—it sets the mood for the party.

Incorporate Personal Touches: Adding personal elements like a memory slideshow, customized favors, or a shared experience (like a scavenger hunt) can make the event more special.

Have Amazing Food and Drinks: Depending on the vibe, you could have a fancy sit-down dinner, a fun buffet, or snack stations. For drinks, consider a signature cocktail that fits the theme or bride’s favorite drink.

Consider a Relaxing or Pampering Activity: If the bride enjoys a more laid-back experience, plan a spa day with facials, massages, and mani-pedis. Or, you could do a DIY pampering session at home.

Document the Event: Hire a photographer or set up a DIY photo booth. This way, the bride and everyone else can have lasting memories.

Keep it Stress-Free for the Bride: The bridal party is meant to be a celebration, so try to handle all the logistics and decisions so that the bride can just relax and enjoy the day.
