The New Year - Events & Weddings

The year 2020 will be one to remember. From the moment January made it’s arrival, to now - things have changed a lot. If you were planning a wedding, or an event this year - it was most likely canceled. For that, we feel for you. Our company has definitely been affected by this pandemic, but we’ve made the best of it.

From elopements to small and intimate weddings, 2020 has brought us closer to our clients, and we can’t express our gratitude enough!

Here are a few tips on how to plan an elopement:

Set A Date Setting a date will obviously assist you with making the planning process a little easier - even if you want to say I do on top of a mountain! This will not only allow other vendors to plan accordingly, but it will get you excited for that specific date! (We’re all about a spontaneous wedding too…)

Decide Who Will Attend Obviously, at an elopement, it is supposed to be smaller, and sometimes family or friends aren’t even invited! Make the decision, but don’t be hard on yourself! Enjoy the process, and know, especially in 2020, or in the next year, that thinking about yourself and your significant other is just as important.

Reception?

The theme of this year has been staying home, or staying away from people, but if you do it right, you could have at least a little dinner with friends to celebrate! It doesn’t have to be a huge party, but we want you to celebrate somehow!

Florals, Hair and Makeup, etc. Vendors can still play a big part in your wedding day, even if it is just you and your significant other. From your bouquet to your hair and makeup, it takes a village to bring everything together!

In 2021, none of us really know what is going to happen. But what we can say, and do, is staying positive is the best way to move forward. Positivity is key friends. Even if you have to have an intimate wedding, you can plan a reception for a later date! Don’t fret, don’t get anxious, because it will all work out in the end.

Hiring a coordinator for your wedding, or event will make this entire process a lot easier! So think of us in Washington, because we’re here for you!

Cheers!
