Transportation On Your Wedding Day | Jubilee Weddings and Events

When it comes to your wedding day, there are so many moving pieces (literally), like transportation! When and where does the shuttle or limo pick up, who are they picking up, when are they picking people up at the end of the night? All of these questions will go through your head, so here's a guide to help you get through this task!

1. Create a detailed list of people and their hotels. Start by creating a list of everyone who will need transportation to the wedding, and where they will be staying. This should include the couple, wedding party and guests.

2. Contact transportation services:

Reach out to local transportation services and see if they are available on the date of the wedding and what type of vehicles they have for hire. If you need more than one vehicle, make sure that the services can provide the necessary amount.

3. Make a schedule: Once you know the arrival times and have chosen the transportation service, create a schedule for the pick-up and drop-off times. Make sure to include the wedding party and couple first, and then the guests.

4. Provide guests with information:

Send out pre-wedding information to the guests that includes the transportation schedule. You can also include directions or contact information in case they need help or have any questions. This is great information to have on your wedding website.

5. Confirm the schedule:

Before the wedding, check in with the transportation service to make sure that everything is still on track and that they are aware of any changes that may have been made.

6. Have back-up plans:

Have a few back-up plans in case anything goes wrong, such as alternate modes of transportation or contact information for an alternate service. This way, you won’t be caught off guard if something doesn’t go according to plan.
